Running question.
Where does everyone keep their keys?
A month or two ago, I bought a small waist-pack to store my keys, phone, and mace. But next month I’m upgrading to an iPhone4 and it won’t fit in my waistpack.
I’ve been searching Amazon, and Nike seems to have a nice “arm wallet”. But it doesn’t seem like there would also be room for my keys and mace.
My running partner...
Leg pain again today.
I’m going to blame it on new shoes. It’s so frustrating. I was so sure we were going to do 25 minutes today.

Two runs with no leg pain!
The dynamic stretching is really working. I did a 3.5 mile walk/run this morning with absolutely no pain at all, and that is a big deal!

Too ambitious?
I had an idea to do a local 5K/10K/5 Mile/Whatever every month from March through the end of the year. Is that too many races? Should I just try for every other month?

Fitblr Races
I tried for my 2nd time trial this morning, and I did improve a bit, but I want to try one more time! I think I can do better.

193.8 this morning. I’d love to see 192 next week! I’m gonna have to lay off the ice cream this weekend for that to happen. I would REALLY like to get out of the 190s.
not sure how i feel about a male trainer =/

especially since he is really hot!
He makes me so nervous lol :[
You’ll get used to him! When I first started with my trainer, it was weird, but once I got to know him a little bit it was ok.
My Life (in Weight)
Stealing this from E and Leighton.
0-10: I was completely oblivious of my weight. I was always tall for my age, and ran around a lot with neighborhood friends. I was not overweight, but sometimes felt embarrassed because I had to shop in the larger sizes. I was tall and what you might call large-framed, not chunky, but I started to feel that way. It sucks to shop in the Misses department when...

Intended to do a 25 minute run this morning, but three minutes in the outsides of my legs/ankles were burning. I’m going to get a...

Extra slice of cheese on my turkey sandwich today.
It’s the little things that make me happy.
I watched Makenzie’s episode of I Used to Be Fat last night, and I was so pissed off at her dad. Call me sentimental, but the one man that a girl should be able to count on to think she is beautiful and priceless is her dad. This a-hole kept telling her that she needs to lose weight so that she can date and get married. In other words, she is worthless because she is overweight. No one...

“This Is CrossFit”
Moral of the story, don’t doubt yourself, don’t tell yourself you can’t, don’t underestimate yourself. Coach Kris always says when you’re pushing through to take it one rep at a time, to think every time “just one more” and again “just one more” and pull through.
I’ve GOT to find that motivation to push myself harder. I’ve been better about...
I am so sick of the sides of my legs hurting every other time I run! I’ve been running for months; shouldn’t my legs be strong by now???

OMG
What is with the ZING in my lower back with every foot strike when I run all of a sudden? It’s not pain exactly, but it certainly doesn’t feel good. Anyone else has this happen?

ncfit asked: shark week?
So, Shark Week is definitely drawing nigh, because I’ve been snacking all day!
You know the saying, familiarity breeds contempt? I think I’m way too familiar with my personal trainer, because I spend A LOT of time whining during my sessions. He’s there to push me, and I know this, but I HATE burpees and planks and squat thrusts. When I first started training with Gary, I didn’t whine at all. Now I act like a big baby, and I can’t stand myself. My...
Bought some Bagel Thins to use for my toasted turkey sandwich for lunch today, and it turned out to be really good. I love to use French bread slices or rolls from the bakery, but I can’t seem to time my purchase right. When I get groceries, the bread I want is set to expire in like one or two days, and I need it to last a week. I spotted the Bagel Thins next to the bakery section and...
You can either live your dreams or live your excuses.

Dang, dude, right to the jugular this morning!
So, running didn’t happen this week. Too many ways for me to find excuses. I did hit the gym on the prescribed days, however, and squatted 90 pounds this morning!
Couldn’t do my Fitblr Race run yesterday because of snow and ice. In the morning there will still be ice, and frigid cold, so I’ll have to hit the treadmill at the gym. Hopefully I’ll be able to do the first run in a couple of days.
