I went to the drugstore to drop off a prescription a little while ago, and I was thirsty and a bit hungry. Normally this scenario would end with me walking out of the store having purchased a bottle of Mt. Dew and either chips or candy. I bought none of those things! In fact, I went home and poured a glass of low-cal Gatorade and had some grapes. NSV!

Fitocracy is totally motivating me right now. I just HAVE to earn those quests! Tomorrow I have a 6 mile run scheduled, and I’m going to go for 6.25 just so I can earn the 10k quest. And I did 50 crunches this morning to earn the Washboard Abs quest. I hate crunches! It doesn’t hurt that the hubs gets slightly jealous when I move up a level. Ha!

So I had decided to not do the event so that I could go home and hit the gym with the hubs (hormones making me antisocial), but now I’m stuck at work babysitting the guy working on our server. So I’ll have to get up early to go to the gym anyway. Not fair!
I have an event to go to this evening, but I’d rather stay home and go the gym so I don’t have to go in the morning. I know the hubs would rather go tonight, too. Hmm. What to do. I never thought I’d be trying to decide between a night out and the gym! Normally that would be a no-brainer. So, NSV, I guess?

Did 27 push-ups using the Drop and Give Me Twenty app on my Android phone. And not modified ones, either! I can tell my push-ups are getting better.
Looking forward to a great weekend!
5 mile run in the morning, 23 mile bike ride on Sunday, nothing else planned all weekend! Maybe a bit of cleaning in my office to get ready for the fall semester to start.
