Tonight my body decided it didn’t remember how to run. Until the last half mile of the scheduled three-miler, that is. Oh, well, that’s still three more in the bag. And my St. Jude Hero swag came in today! Messenger bag, visor, and an iPod shuffle.

This will get me all the way through the Little Rock Half, then I will make adjustments as needed. The Women Run Arkansas clinic starts the week after the race, so my schedule will change then.

Nice, slow eight miles today. It felt like spring down by the river this afternoon.
chrystidoeslife asked: I was following you for the longest time, and the I was wondering why I never see you on my dash anymore. Lo and behold, the tumblbeasts ate you! I figured them out, though, and now I'm happy to be back :-) ~C
I actually turned down donuts this morning in favor of my patented banana/peanut butter/chia/almond milk smoothie. Figured I needed extra nutrients to help me through today’s eight-miler.
OK, so here's the deal.
As my dear followers have no doubt noticed, I’ve been flaking on the fitness a bit lately, so I haven’t been posting as much. I’m going to be moving (by myself) sometime in the next month or so, so obviously I’ve been a bit preoccupied. I’m happy about the move, but there is a lot that goes along with that. I’m still running and I still plan to do the Little...

3.75 miles in 46:13 in the nice afternoon sun. I’m pretty happy with that. Thanks to my HANDy (get it?) street list, I didn’t get lost this time. I think I’ll head down to the river for my long run on Sunday. A 6-miler, I think.

Got in 3.25 miles before I’d had about all I could take of the treadmill. I upped the pace every interval, so I feel like I got a pretty good workout.
Four miles on the dreadmill tonight cause it’s too freaking cold and windy out. Wish me luck.

Ran 3.25-3.5 miles last night (RunKeeper app was wonky, so I don’t know the precise distance), and it felt really great. Now if I can just keep that up for the next two days, I’ll be happy with myself.

As badly as I wanted to go to the store last night and buy a bunch of junk food, I didn’t do it. I ate a Clementine instead. Yay me, I guess.

The nice thing about The Clymb taking forever to ship your order is that you forget about it, so it’s like getting a present when you get your shipping confirmation email. New running hat in the mail for me!
